Transport cops investigate sexual offence against teenager on train

A witness appeal has been launched after a "sexual offence" involving a man and a teenage girl on an Ayrshire train.
Detectives from the British Transport Police are appealing for information after the man approached the girl and “used sexually explicit and indecent language”.
The incident occurred on board a Scotrail train from Glasgow Central to Ayr on Thursday, April 3.
He approached the girl shortly after 9pm before making the comments and continued to stare at her throughout the journey.
