£200k to take on former church

A charity organisation has launched an ambitious £200,000 crowdfunder in order to purchase a "much-loved and iconic building"in Troon.

Troon Development Trust hope to take on the Troon Old Parish Church in Ayr Street and turn it into a "communityowned hub.
On their crowdfunder the group ask for support in what they say will be a "bold and meaningful project" that will "benefit Troon for generations to come."
The group said: "The former Troon Old Parish Church, a much-loved and iconic building in the heart of our town, has become available for purchase.
