Hendo hails club after doing his homework

Airdrie got full marks in Euan Henderson's homework on his next club, and he hopes to help the Diamonds get to the top of the class this season.

Henderson, 24, left Hamilton Accies at the end of last season as a 15-point deduction for off-field offences pitched them into League One.

Looking around, Henderson reckons Airdrie are a good fit for him, and talking to boss Rhys McCabe sealed the deal.

"I studied teams around Scotland and Airdrie were the ones that suited the way I play," said Henderson.

"From playing against Airdrie, watching them play, doing a bit of research on them, that was the main reason I wanted to sign for them.
