Detour for two months to add 500m commute
The bustling road connecting Vadaj to Ranip, which passes through Ramapir Tekra, will be closed for two months starting 3 October due to extensive infrastructure development at Vadaj Junction.
The closure is necessitated by ongoing construction of a four-lane overbridge and a two-lane underpass, part of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation's (AMC) Rs 127 crore project aimed at tackling the city’s growing traffic congestion.
It may be noted that the project is located near the Gandhi Ashram, a monument of national significance.
