Iga Swiatek reached the final of the Cincinnati Open for the first time in her career with a 7-5, 6-3 win over Elena Rybakina.

Having lost in the semifinals in the Queen City in each of the last two years, No. 3 seed Swiatek overcame a 5-3 deficit in the first set to claim victory. The Wimbledon champion won 10 of the last 13 games to take her fourth straight win against Rybakina and her sixth win against the Kazakh in 10 tour-level meetings.
