Crook Cheats Jewellers by Exchanging Fake Gold Chains with Gold Bars

A man targeting jewellers in Ahmedabad used the same trick to cheat them of gold and cash. In two separate cases reported within days, two jewellers were duped by the man who went by different names. He visited jewellers with fake gold chains and walked away with pure gold bars worth over Rs 3 lakh. Police suspect that he could be part of a gang that is using a planned method to trap unsuspecting shop owners. Police have registered both complaints and are now on the lookout for the accused.
