Accrington Observer
|June 06, 2025
PUPILS from Great Harwood’s primary schools are planning a “Big Tidy” event to tackle litter in the township.

It will take place on Thursday June 12.
The move has come out of a newly-formed Pupil Parliament which aims to bring positive changes to the township.
Children representing each of the five primary schools in Great Harwood have met throughout the year to debate issues that affect them and their friends.
They are now ready to lead a campaign in the hope to make a real difference.
