Pals take on epic challenge for cancer cash

TWO friends embarked on a mammoth physical challenge to climb some of the highest peaks in Lancashire.
Jack Walsh and Sam Barton, from Accrington, took on the East Lancashire Three Peaks Challenge, hiking more than 28 miles over the region's highest peaks last Friday.
The pair walked 33 miles which took 16 hours, amounting to more than 75,000 steps.
They were accompanied by Sam's dog Maui and set off at 5.30am, travelling from Accrington town centre up Hamble-don Hill while battling the rain.
