Four charged as police crack down on car break-ins

Drivers reminded to make sure vehicles locked overnight

FOUR men have been charged following numerous reports of car thefts and other vehicle crime over the past few weeks.

Police in Hyndburn say residents across the borough have alerted them to their cars being stolen and personal items being taken from their vehicles during April.

The Hyndburn Task Force team and local neighbourhood team launched a crackdown operation overnight on Saturday, April 26, with officers in both uniform and plain clothes 'walking through the hotspot areas to disrupt this activity.
