DIOR DARTS IN TO INFLICT FIRST DEFEAT ON SPIREITES

Angus popped up to level eight minutes from time after centre-back Jamie Grimes had put Chesterfield in front with a first half header.

And the former Barrow and Wrexham striker was at the right place, right time again in the fourth minute of time added on to score a dramatic winner after Chris Conn-Clarke’s effort was blocked.

“We’re delighted with that!” said beaming Alty assistant boss Neil Sorvel. “First half, we had a lot of possession, but were struggling to create anything, but in the second half, we totally dominated.

“I knew our goals were coming, but I was getting a bit worried we might have left it too late, but Dior [Angus] has been banging them in in training, and it’s turned out to be a magnificent substitution hasn’t it!
