In defence of essential oils
The Light
|Issue 45 - May 2024
I WAS disappointed and concerned when I read the article 'Nothing essential about essential oils' by Sapphire MacDonald, published in February 2024's The Light newspaper edition.
Quoting verbatim from April Graham's book, 'Essentially Deadly: The Unspoken Dangers of Essential Oils' (2023), MacDonald intersperses (it is not clear where her language begins and Graham's ends in this emotive article) dialogue expressing unsubstantiated opinions, and sweeping, inaccurate, un-contextualised, unbalanced and poorly informed claims throughout her article.
