Outlook
|June 21, 2025
From its roots in Kozhikode to a leading healthcare network across Kerala, BMH stands out for blending advanced medical technology with genuine compassion. With over 50 specialties and a philosophy that puts patients first, BMH is redefining healthcare through its “More Than Care” promise.
-
In a time when healthcare is increasingly defined by metrics and machinery, the Baby Memorial Hospital (BMH) Group stands apart - with a promise that is both simple and powerful: More Than Care. It’s a philosophy that lives not just in operating theatres and ICUs, but in every corridor, conversation, and community the hospital group touches. Born from a deep commitment to serve, and grown through decades of excellence, BMH today is one of Kerala’s most trusted healthcare institutions, offering a rare blend of technological sophistication, clinical depth, and compassionate service.
A Vision That Took Root in Kozhikode
The journey of Baby Memorial Hospital began in 1987 with Dr. K.G. Alexander's dream to make advanced healthcare accessible to North Kerala. What started as a modest 52-bed hospital in Kozhikode has since transformed into a multi-location healthcare group, with a flagship 500+ bed facility in Kozhikode and full-fledged hospitals in Kannur, Thodupuzha, and Payyanur. Each of these hospitals is established on the same foundational values - care that is ethical, affordable, and deeply personal.
