|September 27, 2024
TECHNOLOGY HAS TRANSFORMED HEALTH CARE. TELEHEALTH SERVICES NOW ENABLE ROUNDthe-clock communication between patients and medical providers, and it is estimated that over 116 million individuals will seek virtual consultations with doctors in 2024, according to Statista data.
New advances in digital imaging, artificial intelligence and robotics allow professionals to detect issues faster and more accurately. With so many exciting innovations in medicine, Newsweek and Statista are partnering for the fourth year to rank the World's Best Smart Hospitals 2025. This list recognizes 350 hospitals across 28 countries for their standout work in implementing new medical technologies. The rankings are determined by a global survey of health care professionals, as well as assessments of the facilities' technology usage and Joint Commission International accreditations. The ranking also recognizes facilities that stand out in certain categories like telemedicine, artificial intelligence and robotics. The United States, Brazil, Mexico, Germany, Saudi Arabia and Singapore are among the 28 countries represented this year. We hope this list helps you find world-class, technologically advanced care for you and your loved ones.
METHODOLOGY

Utilizing these advanced technologies can not only enhance care delivery outcomes and efficiencies within the hospital but also support broader health goals related to prevention, population health and quality of life outcomes. To enhance transparency in hospitals' efforts to implement digital health technologies worldwide, Statista and Newsweek have partnered once again to recognize the 350 leading "World's Best Smart Hospitals" from 28 different countries, while also highlighting standout categories.
