Some stories begin in a palace courtyard, with sunlight on painted arches and the clink of fine china. Jaipur Rose feels exactly like that moment caught on a table. This collaboration between Good Earth and The Palace Atelier at City Palace, Jaipur, led by Princess Gauravi Kumari, threads together two legacies that are equally obsessed with beauty, history and detail. Hand drawn motifs borrow from the Rose Gate and Pritam Niwas Chowk, where roses, guldastas and arches turn into porcelain poetry. The palette is dreamy mint, aqua, fuchsia and rose, finished with a flirt of 24k gold that whispers old-world romance rather than shouting opulence. We caught up with the princess and Anita Lal, founder and creative director, Good Earth for a deeper insight.
