The Magnite has led a resurgence for the Japanese automaker in India and is single-handedly responsible for keeping the brand afloat. However, it had one chink in its armour-the lack of an automatic transmission for the 1.0-litre NA petrol engine. Nissan has now added an automatic option in the form of a 5-speed AMT to the natasp motor, and has named it the EZ-Shift.
