The model's renowned curved rectangular case, a hallmark since its debut in 1968, is revitalised this year in rose gold, accompanied by an exquisite chain-style bracelet consisting of more than 300 individually assembled links. Powered by an ultra-thin automatic movement that measures just 2.35mm in height, the new Golden Ellipse is also the slimmest watch in Patek Philippe's regular collection to date, marrying its 18th-century-style aesthetics with modern mechanical sophistication.

Tadao Ando x Serpenti

Bvlgari has found a kindred spirit in Tadao Ando, and fans of both the Italian brand and the Japanese architect are lapping up the chemistry. The luxury house first enlisted Ando to design a limited series of Octo Finissimo watches in 2019. With the Tadao Ando x Serpenti-the pair's fourth offering-the collaboration enters a new phase with its first ladies' creation. The Serpenti's famous snake-shaped case with integrated twirl bracelet comes in four options: stainless steel, rose gold, steel and yellow gold, and steel and rose gold-each featuring a different marquetry dial to represent the four seasons. Whether crafted in green aventurine (summer, pictured), tiger's eye (autumn), white mother-of-pearl (winter) or pink mother-of-pearl (spring) the pieces are carefully assembled to create an interplay of tones and reflections.
