The 940-page Ultimate Collector Motorcycles is a twovolume encomium to a subject never before presented in such depth, bringing over 1,100 photographs to life in a way smaller formats simply can’t, with the design, printing and paper quality to which we’ve become accustomed from publishing house Taschen. Importantly, this is no mere photo essay. Motorcycle scholars and authors Charlotte and Peter Fiell have curated the 100 most significant bikes ever built, many of them unique, or nearly so. That they were able to track down and document these treasured machines is the result of two years devoted to research, interviews, writing and travelling.
