It's already been a huge year for Robert Irwin. He made a success of his first-ever major TV gig on Network Ten's I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! alongside veteran co-host Julia Morris - and now that polished performance has been recognised with a surprise Gold Logie nomination!
"It's extraordinary that he should get this honour at just 20 years of age and after hosting just one show," a TV insider exclusively tells New Idea. "It's clearly a sign that he's destined for big things on-screen."
However Robert's nomination alongside seasoned stars including Andy Lee, Larry Emdur, Tony Armstrong, Asher Keddie, Sonia Kruger and his I'm A Celeb co-host Julia has raised eyebrows.
