Storm clouds appear to be gathering over Summer Bay for Home and Away couple James Stewart and Ada Nicodemou, prompting fears that life is imitating art, given their characters, Justin and Leah, are currently navigating marital turmoil on screen.

New photos of Ada and James on set in Palm Beach, NSW, seemingly show them looking rather tense between takes. In one of the photos, taken in late October, James, 50, appears to be walking away from Ada, 48, as she heads in the opposite direction. In another, they sit opposite each other during a meal break, with James looking disengaged and withdrawn.
