All eyes were on Samsung when the Korean tech giant revealed two new models - the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Galaxy Z Flip 7. Whether you are a productivity powerhouse looking for tablet-like multitasking or a minimalist seeking a pocket-sized device, Samsung seems to have an option tailored just for you.

Here's how each of them fared in our hands-on experience.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7

The first time I held the Galaxy Z Fold 7, I did a double take. This is lighter than my regular phone! For something that opens up into a full-fledged tablet, I was expecting a bit of bulk. But at just 215 grams, the Fold 7 comes as a surprise.

The Fold 7 is sleek, streamlined, and most importantly, sturdy. It is just 8.9 mm thick when folded and 4.2 mm thick when unfolded. The device comes with a 6.5-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X cover display, a wider screen with a new 21:9 aspect ratio, which means I no longer feel like I am texting through a slit. The Armour FlexHinge is no gimmick, and it could handle being flipped open and shut 100 times a day. Open it up, and that 8-inch main display is quite impressive. With the Fold7, you can review presentation decks on one side while referencing emails on the other. I wrote notes, edited photos, watched a full episode of The Office, and even jumped on a quick video call, all without switching devices.
