An evening with Omega’s modern brand ambassadors and equally modern shades of the new Aqua Terra collection discloses an eclectic and exciting future for the brand.

EDDIE REDMAYNE IS among the few male British actors not contending for the role of James Bond. The actor doesn't see himself embodying the physicality of Bond. Physically or sartorially, it's just not his style. And neither are the cutting-edge, ultra-capable watches that come with the job. "Despite my best efforts to go to the gym and have massive forearms, I just can't pull off a Daniel Craig-style watch," said the 41-year-old BAFTA award winner. Forearm musculature notwithstanding, Redmayne is no stranger to high watchmaking, having been one of Omega's brand ambassadors for eight years now. Redmayne was speaking at the launch event of the Omega Aqua Terra Shades collection in London. It's a collection that's more suited to his sartorial tastes. For starters, the new Aqua Terra favours the slender-wristed, since it doesn't get bigger than 38mm or smaller than 34mm.
