 A high-quality portfolio with selective and controlled exposure to bonds rated AA and below echoes its credit complexion. While this fund predominantly sticks to an average portfolio maturity of two to three years, it does take exposure to bonds with a maturity over three years. It spreads its portfolio across multiple issuers to contain blow-up risks. Across market cycles, the fund has a fairly consistent history of beating the category average over one-year periods.
