Australian farmland values stall

After more than a decade of relentless gains, Australian farmland values have finally levelled off.
According to Bendigo Bank Agribusiness, the national median price of farmland fell 3.1% over the year to $9885 per hectare in the first half of 2025, the first decline since 2013.
Only South Australia and New South Wales managed to buck the trend, recording modest growth.
