Country music lyrics often tell a story of someone leaving somebody or something. One couple thought they were smitten with a suburban Nashville property and enlisted the talents of architect Bobby McAlpine and his designer partner, Ray Booth, to build a home for their family there. But along came a different piece of land, this one in the heart of the country music mecca.

That's when the couple said goodbye to the original property and changed their tune to build on a lot that was sure to be a forever hit on their life soundtrack.
