Known for crafting glamourous projects ranging from luxury boutiques, corporate offices to residential mansions, Akash and Poonam Mehta of AMPM Designs have created a style that's instantly recognisable as theirs. With offices in Mumbai and Pune, this couple are the principal designers and partners of their firm. A key signature element is the particular attention they give to the bespoke lighting of spaces, which also happens to be the reason they first met. For Poonam, creativity was always second nature. "A love for design comes naturally to us both," she muses, reflecting on the early days when their paths first crossed. It was a chance project that brought them together initially. "I asked him to help me on a project to plan and craft the lighting," she recalls, setting the scene for what would become the foundation of their partnership. As they delved deeper into their collaborative efforts, a bond began to
