Nestled in a quiet neighbourhood in Mumbai, this home designed by the creative duo of Shilpa Jain Balvally and Sameer Balvally of Studio Osmosis, emanates a sense of understated elegance. Muted, yet far from silent, the house is an example of self-assured design, employing a neutral palette and clean, decluttered aesthetics. For the homeowners, luxury held a distinct meaning—one devoid of excessive glitz, contrasting elements or superfluous features. “Luxury didn’t entail flamboyance or an abundance of materials. It wasn’t about adding unnecessary embellishments,” explains Shilpa.
