May and June brings what estate agents nickname 'silly season' for house sales. This is without a doubt the best time of year to get your home on to the market. That's why, in this last month, I have listed two of my most recent property flips for sale.

But why is this such a good time to sell your home? Typically, the weather is much better and 2025 has been exceptionally beautiful, with Ireland having the sunniest spring on record. The gardens are green, flowers are blooming and tonnes of natural light helps make homes look their best. I have also been able to have the hot tub bubbling and a champagne filled ice-bucket on the patio table so that potential buyers can envision themselves living their best life!
