While we might all have visions of our dream kitchen, doing a full-scale remodel might not be in the budget at the moment. But that doesn't mean there's nothing you can do. Here are 15 easy ideas to update your kitchen - no renovation necessary.

EASY UPDATES

1 Update cabinets

You don't have to tear out old cabinetry to give your kitchen a fresh new look. With a bit of creativity and the the help of pinterest and instagram for inspiration, you can update your kitchen cabinets without replacing them. Try these easy ways to refresh your cabinets with paint, molding, inserts, and new hardware.

Update an old cabinet door by adding a glass panel. You can order panels from a glass shop, selecting between clear, frosted, reeded, or ribbed glass for a unique look. Use a router to remove the center panel, then sand and paint if desired. Have the glass cut to size, adding an extra half-inch on each side. Place the glass piece on the back of the frame and secure it with clips.

2 Install a Spray Tap

If your kitchen or utility room needs a mini makeover consider installing a spray tap. Most can be fitted retrospectively and their design is ideal for cleaning purposes, from maintaining your sink to helping you rinse bulky pots and pans. Caple's new Torrent professional pull-out spray tap with a handy extendable hose, has been designed for those who are looking for a highly practical, super-stylish model to feature in their kitchen wet zone. It can extend 600mm and features a handy 180°C swivel spout. With a polished chrome finish, this luxurious tap has an easy-to-use push button spray head with a minimalist single lever design and single flow. Torrent tap for £334. caple.co.uk
