1 CHECK THE NEED FOR PLANNING PERMISSION

While many extensions can be built under permitted development, there are certain standards and size restrictions to bear in mind, and if you have already added an extension you may already have used up your rights.

2 DISCUSS YOUR PLANS WITH NEIGHBOURS
