From the moment they bought their terraced cottage in southeast London in 2018, Chile and James had dreams of renovating the kitchen. Several years later, with twins on the way, the time came to turn those dreams into a reality - albeit on a tight budget. 'The kitchen was dark with tired, badly laid-out 1990s laminate units, the lean-to conservatory at the back was falling down and the downstairs loo had an Astroturf floor. It wasn't pretty!' says Chile.
