Inspired by the natural world, interior designer Sarah Davenport fills her Lincolnshire home with bold colour, vintage treasures and meaningful pieces. The result is a fun, vibrant and welcoming space

Designer Sarah Davenport's family home - which she shares with her husband Ross, their daughters April and Verity, and their dog Walter provides a bright and vibrant backdrop for day-to-day life.

At the heart of Sarah's interior design aesthetic is a belief in creativity and being true to yourself - something she advocates in her work as director of an interiors business, That Rebel House. Her home in Lincolnshire is a place of colour, pattern and texture, with handpicked treasures that represent the people who live there: these schemes are a true feast for the eyes.

The original footprint of the home has been extended to add more bedrooms and a bathroom, so Sarah needed a cohesive palette which would connect the new rooms to the old. She selected a few core colours to use consistently: greens, terracottas and pops of her favourite yellows prevail, with grounding brown textures and accent hues that appear sometimes for a season, other times as a fleeting highlight.
