In the high-rise landscape of our metros where every squarefoot comes at a mind-boggling cost, a balcony is more than a structural add-on. It is a luxury. Yet for years, this precious connection to the outdoors has been relegated to the mundane as a graveyard for old newspapers, a storage hub for clutter or a permanent site for dripping laundry.

However, as cities grow denser and conversations around AQI and mental wellness intensify, we are no longer content with utility spaces. We crave a private patch of greenery where one can savour a microconnect with nature, a morning cuppa or a meditative moment of silence. It is a space for the “dil maange more” soul.
