In the late 2000s in India, few one-stop interior design solutions existed in the market. Homeowners were often caught between multiple vendors, shifting timelines, and had to compromise on their vision to achieve faster turnarounds. To bridge this extensive gap, Abhishek, Aashita and Vinayak Chadha came together and founded The KariGhars: an organisation that aimed to deliver end-to-end interior solutions, design tailored to each homeowner's vision, and the promise of a home that stands the test of time. The name, ideated by Aashita, pays homage to the unsung heroes behind every facade dotting our cities: the karigars, the carpenters, the masons who play a vital role in bringing countless visions to life.
