It's great to layer a multitude of materials, but there needs to be an anchor in any space-be it to hold your attention or to let your mind wander away in mindless distractions. When Nishant Mehta, founder and principal architect of Studio NM was approached to design this spa situated in the Belvedere club at the Shantigram Complex, Ahmedabad, he zeroed down on two major aspects-first, the intent was to build a calm and tranquil sanctuary.
