THE START
No stranger to a design challenge, Louise Ashdown, showroom manager and head of design at West One Bathrooms, found herself faced with an unusual project. ‘The house dates back to the 16th century and it is an absolutely idyllic setting in the Ashdown Forest in East Sussex,’ she says. ‘The owners wanted a total rethink of their en suite, which was in a particularly tricky long and narrow space. And the style needed to be in keeping with the character and age of their home.’
