Cocktail hour

Load the drinks trolley with your best glasses and plenty of Christmas spirit, and serve up these festive tipples to make the party go with a swing

Cranberry caipirinha

MAKES 1

½ fresh lime, cut into quarters

2 heaped tsp light brown sugar

Ice cubes

50ml (1¾fl oz) Abelha Cachaça Silver

Sprig of rosemary, to garnish

GLASS: Rocks

1 Add the cranberries, lime and sugar to a cocktail shaker or large glass and muddle well. Strain the liquid into a rocks glass and fill it with ice.

2 Add in the Abelha Cachaça Silver and stir gently until mixed. Garnish with a sprig of rosemary.

Spiced espresso martini

MAKES 1

¼ tsp ground nutmeg

Ground coffee beans to make 50ml (1¾fl oz) espresso

Ice

50ml (1¾fl oz) cinnamon-infused vodka (add 1 cinnamon stick and 1tsp sugar to 200ml (6¾fl oz) vodka, cover with cling film; infuse overnight in a fridge)
