One Toxic Worm

I engage in educational outreach at schools, and I'm warned not to bring "toxic" minerals. Among the prime no-nos? Asbestos, mercury, galena, anything radioactive and orpiment. While many are relatively safe for the average mineral collector unless heated to release vapors or ground up and inhaled or ingested, all have a danger element. So, they stay home.
