FERGIE TO TURN ON ANDREW?

Last month, King Charles finally stripped Andrew of his titles and ousted him out of Royal Lodge. Buckingham Palace announced the former prince - now known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor - will move to a property on the King's private Sandringham Estate in Norfolk.

It came after Andrew handed back other titles, including the Duke of York, despite insisting, 'I vigorously deny the accusations against me.' Andrew and the King reportedly agreed he should relinquish his titles and resign from the Order of the Garter. Shortly after, the King sensationally removed Andrew from the roll of peerage.

But what does the fallout mean for Andrew, and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson? For decades, they have stood by one another through scandals. At the time of going to press, it was unclear where the couple - who have lived together since 2008 - would move to, but events had reportedly left, Fergie feeling she 'has nowhere to go - or anyone else to go with', according to friends.

Royal experts think losing her Duchess of York title could see Fergie turn her back on Andrew, 65. 'Fergie will say anything to save her own skin,' says one source adding, 'Her fate is closely tied to that of her ex-husband.' Money is thought to be a bone of contention. 'It's likely that she and Andrew will need each other more than ever, it seems to me, but it may depend on their individual finances,' says the source.

Having been linked to Jeffrey Epstein through her own friendship, Fergie's career as a children's author is said to be 'going down the pan'. Meanwhile, the source says that 'other commercial opportunities may be lost because of the scandal', prompting Fergie, 66, to distance herself from Andrew once and for all.
