Formulations & biologicals exports grew 15.8% in July

EXPORTS of drug formulations and biologicals have gone up 15.85% during the month of July, 2025, while the cumulative growth of finished formulations and biologicals exports was at 7.66% for the first four months of the current fiscal year.

The export of formulations and biologicals during the month of July was at $2.12 billion, as compared to $1.83 billion during the same month of previous fiscal year. For the previous month of June, 2025, the export was a 6.12% growth at $2.08 billion, as compared to $1.96 billion in the same month of last year, according to data from the ministry of commerce and industry.

In Rupee terms, the growth was 19.1% during the month, at Rs. 18,265.7 crore, as compared to Rs. 15,334.7 crore during the same month last year. The growth during June, 2025 was 9.3% at Rs. 17,880 crore as compared to Rs. 16,356 crore in the same month of last year.
