We had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Anurag Chadha, Director, Food & Beverage Biosolutions, South Asia at Novonesis. Pawan Lohani, Senior Sub-Editor of Food Infotech Magazine, delves into details about the company’s product portfolio and new innovations. This interview covers the innovative solutions provided by Novonesis to various segments of the food processing industry.
Novozymes has recently joined hands with Chr. Hansen to become Novonesis. How has this helped you expand globally?
While Novonesis may be just a 1.5-year-old company, it stands on the shoulders of two giants with a hundred-year-old history in the field of biology. Coming together, it has become a powerhouse in biosciences. We now cater to 30-plus industries across the food and nonfood segments. Our microbial strain bank has increased to a hundred thousand strains, which we can leverage for our future work. As the saying in our organisation goes, there is a biosolution for (almost) everything. Novonesis will keep working towards this, whether it is on the food side or on the nonfood side.
You have become a bigger association than the previous one, Novozymes. So, how is it helping you to expand globally?
