TORIC QUANTIÈME PERPÉTUEL
-
Quite frankly, Parmigiani's transformation in the last few years is nothing short of spectacular. From the reform of the Tonda PF core collection to the introduction of the new Toric philosophy, year after year, they continue to put out bangers, and thankfully, 2025 is no different. This year, their focus is on minimalist complications, the use of intriguing colours, and the introduction of a brand-new material.
Two of those three boxes are checked thanks to the new complication they are adding to the refreshed Toric collection. The Toric Quantième Perpétuel offers up a perpetual calendar, and it follows the quiet luxury ethos of Parmigiani quite brilliantly. I am starting to see more brands using the perpetual calendar as a flex as compared to the tourbillon and this is a good signifier that horology enthusiasts are getting more knowledgeable because arguably a perpetual calendar is exponentially harder to master than the tourbillon.
