At just 18, Harleen Kaur Aulakh isn't waiting for the future - she's building it. As the powerhouse behind the Rayi Kaur Foundation, she is igniting a youth-led movement that's transforming lives through education, healthcare and women's empowerment in underprivileged communities. Driven by empathy and fearless ambition, Harleen is proving that age is no barrier to impact- and that real change begins the moment you decide to lead it.

Tell us a little about yourself and how your journey began.

I'm a Pinegrove School pass-out and currently pursuing my bachelor’s in commerce at Amity University, Mohali. I come from a comfortable family background, and very early on I became conscious of the stark contrast between my life and the struggles many children face.

Instead of looking away, I started looking for a for ways to help. At just 18, I launched the Rayi Kaur Foundation to offer support and hope to underprivileged and orphaned kids.

My mission is simple and clear: to channelize and create a community of today's youth energy towards meaningful and impactful causes.

What was the spark or turning point that led to the creation of Rayi Kaur Foundation?

I had always wanted to give back to my community and often found myself searching for the right channel to make a real difference.

During the Punjab floods, I saw people helping one another with whatever little they had. That moment didn't just move me — it gave me clarity. The compassion I witnessed reaffirmed my belief that with proper direction, community efforts could create meaningful change.
