Can you briefly tell us about your early life and what initially brought you to Chandigarh?
I am among the lucky few who were born in Chandigarh in 1974, so I essentially grew up with the city. I still remember going to Panchkula when there was just one road, so lush with trees that sunlight couldn’t even reach the pavement. Durga Nursery, which has now relocated, was the landmark on that road. My dad was in the army, and Chandi mandir was just being developed at that time.
