Chances are, at any given dinner party at least one person at the table is on “the shot.” A 2024 KFF Health Tracking Poll found that around one in eight adults in the U.S. has used a GLP-1 weight loss drug like Ozempic, Mounjaro, or Zepbound. But for every radically reduced waistline there’s often also an Ozempic face, not to mention a whole lot of newly loose skin to go with it. Plastic surgeons, dermatologists, and aestheticians are suddenly spending a huge percentage of their time fixing these suddenly ubiquitous problems.
