How the workplace is changing?

The workplace is not just a place we go to make our financial ends meet. The workplace is a place where we spend more then one third of our waking hours at. Increasingly employees are factoring in things like work life balance, mental health comfort, social wellbeing instead of just the increment when selecting a company to join.

Traditionally going to the 'job' was a serious occasion, the goal was to earn the money to provide for the family and to step up in life. This came with perceived stress, daunting deadlines, and usual late nights. Now although the goal might be the same, potential employees are looking at more than just titles and increments to justify their job selection. they are defining a new normal in which values, well-being and balance take priority over work titles and rigorous schedules.
