For her fifth high jewellery collection for Louis Vuitton, Francesca Amfitheatrof, artistic director for watches and jewellery, takes an epic voyage through the eons, all the way to the birth of the planet through to the point of creation.

Titled Deep Time, she turns to the origin of geology and its eventual legacy as her inspiration, when the creation of precious metals and gemstones begin to form and crystalise.

"At Louis Vuitton we are as ever adventurers, travelling to extraordinary, unexpected places," says Amfitheatrof. "Deep Time will transport you deeply into the past, to a time and place that is so remote and perhaps even difficult to comprehend.
