Biotech + beauty = a skincare match made in heaven?

I'm gonna start by stating the obvious: In-office cosmetic treatments like peels, lasers, and injectables, while super effective, aren't all that accessible or affordable. It's a frustrating reality that annoys even the pros-people like one-time Bobbi Brown Cosmetics SVP Vimla Black-Gupta. But unlike most of us, she was in a position to do something about it. "We wanted to use biotech to create at-home skincare that gives comparable results to trendy professional treatments," she says, explaining why she and cofounders Lauren Otsuki and Scott Glenn launched Ourself.
