Written and directed by actor Chris O’Dowd (The IT Crowd), the six-part series sees Mad Men favourite Christina Hendricks play Wendy Patterson, who used to live in the (fictional) sleepy area of Drumbán on the Irish border but left in somewhat of a hurry over 20 years ago.

Now a successful TV producer in Los Angeles, Wendy returns to her home town to use it as the setting for a Game of Thronesstyle fantasy epic. However, when she runs into her old flame, respected local doctor Séamus Proctor (House of the Dragon’s Paddy Considine), the two of them are forced to confront a strange secret that’s been kept hidden since the eve of the millennium.
