Just when Mary’s starting to piece her life back together after being played for a fool by Faye – her first-ever girlfriend – the latter returns to the village to cause her more turmoil. Having been charged with fraud after her ‘women’s refuge’ con, shameless Faye wants Mary to withdraw her statement… and threatens to get nasty if Mary doesn’t play ball.
