What do you do when your old flame pops up on a dating app? This is the intriguing starting point for Missing You, the latest Netflix adaptation of a thriller by bestselling author Harlan Coben.

Centring on a detective haunted by her past, the five-parter sees Slow Horses actor Rosalind Eleazar play singleton Kat Donovan, who is encouraged by her friend Stacey Embalo (ex-EastEnders star Jessica Plummer) to try a new dating app. However, she's blindsided when her estranged ex-fiancé, Josh Buchanan (Top Boy's Ashley Walters), who disappeared from her life years ago, appears as a potential love match.

Kat is also struggling to get over the murder of her police-officer father Clint (Sir Lenny Henry), who was a close friend of her boss DCI Ellis Stagger (Richard Armitage, star of Netflix's reworkings of Harlan's stories The Stranger, Stay Close and Fool Me Once).
